To help you deal with unexpected situations that require increased attention, your navigation system has the ability to warn you of potential risks by visual and/or audio alerts. This will be indicated when approaching a hazardous area, such as a fixed speed camera or a red light camera(1). To take advantage of this service, all you need to do is order and download the CITROËN Risk Areas product that is compatible with your navigation system.
The information available in the download contains pinpointed sites
of fixed automatic speed cameras in the following 14 European
countries: Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, United Kingdom, Italy,
Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norway
French law currently prohibits the identification of speed camera locations. In order to comply with this legislation, CITROËN is therefore offering a new 'Citroën Risk Areas' database in order to highlight alerts on danger zones.
Each month, CITROËN will offer you a new Risk Areas update so that you have the latest, reliable information.
As of 5th January 2012, the use and ownership of products
and systems that allow speed cameras to be located are no longer
permitted in France.
